What Block Neodymium Magnet Grades To Choose for BLDC & Servo Motors

Rectangular neodymium block magnets are widely adopted for BLDC motor, servo motor, linear motor and small permanent‑magnet generator. N42SH is the popular grade, working steadily up to 150℃ with balanced magnetic strength and heat resistance for most industrial motor rotor.

For reference, N38SH fits cost‑sensitive medium‑temperature motors. N40SH delivers stronger magnetic output under 150℃ operating temperature. N38H works for general BLDC motors below 120℃. N38UH handles extreme high‑temperature conditions up to 180℃ for heavy‑duty motor equipment.

Nickel coating is standard for anti‑corrosion. Custom dimensions, magnetization direction are available from our magnet manufacturer. Select grades based on your motor’s actual working temperature instead of only pursuing high magnetic energy product.
