SmCo permanent magnetic materials are divided into SmCo5 and Sm2Co17. This material is characterized by its magnetic stability, temperature resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance. Its maximum working temperature can reach 350 ℃, which is very suitable for manufacturing high-performance permanent magnet motors and some application products with high working environment requirements.
Main characteristics: samarium cobalt permanent magnetic material is made by powder metallurgy method, and its chemical combination is divided into SmCo5 and Sm2Co17. It is the magnetic material with magnetic properties second only to neodymium iron boron at present. The advantages of this material are its magnetic stability, temperature resistance, and strong corrosion resistance. It is a rare substitute for sintered neodymium iron boron magnets under special requirements. Its disadvantage lies in its hardness and brittleness, and its machinability has certain limitations.
